Musco-skeletal imbalances or injuries can be detected. Often in performance animals like horses it is very difficult to detect and pinpoint where the imbalance or injury is.
Stress resonance frequencies will pick up imbalances in the various muscles, nerves, ligaments, joints and vertebrae of the body. It can then be corrected with auto meridian and electro acupuncture as well as various other injury repair panels.

Stress and emotional components (click to read more...) are frequently the most significant factor preventing horses or any other animal from achieving the level of success or happiness they are capable of.
Owners must also be aware of the influence of the owner or in the case of a horse, the rider. Problems may directly relate to inappropriate relationships.
The following are some commonly emotional related problems picked up by the SCIO in animals.
- Panic attack – A sudden onset anxiety incident of the most severe kind.
- Specific phobias – Fear of darkness, strange places, people or other animals. A fear of water (this could be as a result of a rabies vaccination. Rabies is often called hydrophobia because of its powerful association with fear of drinking.).
- Fear of open spaces or traveling.
- Post-traumatic stress disorder - Where a history of severe emotional trauma is present in an animal this could be addressed by a combination of sympathetic treatments
- Anxiety - due to general medical conditions.
- Substance-induced disorders
- Mood disorders. Included here are depression, apathy, excitement and irritability. These may follow some of the parameters as indicated above but other factors that may play a part are such as toxemia, heavy metal poisoning, environmental toxins or geopathic stress eg. power lines or underground water.
